NSW - Infrastructure - Design + Construct
Established in the 1880s, Holsworthy military base has been in active use since World War I. At the conclusion of World War II it was converted into a major base and now makes up a significant component of the Australian Army infrastructure in New South Wales.
Encompassing approximately 54,000 acres, the base incorporates facilities needed for firing practice, chemical weapons testing, fire training, vehicle maintenance and chemical storage and distribution, both above and below ground.

The Project
Hurst was engaged to deliver various modifications to this integral army base.
The upgrades centred around delivering facilities and upgrading existing structures to ensure the Barracks can maintain its reputation for world-class response capabilities.
Working in a live environment and in adherence with strict protocols such as a security management plan, our team delivered our portion of the works efficiently and effectively.
Upon completion of the construction and building upgrades, military personnel had access to the infrastructure needed to train in both live and simulated environments.
