Hurst was engaged to carry out full internal fitouts to select NAB retail banking branches throughout NSW in order to assist NAB's ability to adapt to the rapidly changing banking sector.

The aim of the fitout centred around NAB embarking on transforming their locations in order to provide employees with an environment that boosts morale and productivity while also ensuring that customers are treated to a seamless banking experience.

As such, NAB's City South location underwent a major transformation. Wanting to foster a closer working relationship with their business customers, NAB wanted to design a Business Customer Centre. This essentially meant creating a common space that would operate as a co-share office as well as a banking environment.

This open entry area includes a virtual concierge that logs customer requirements for the meeting rooms, technology and catering. Casual bench style work zones, catering facilities, flexible seating options, a seminar space and semi-private meeting areas also populate the Business Customer Centre. All of which have dramatically helped NAB foster more meaningful contact with their customers.
