The Australian hospitality landscape is constantly welcoming new additions. One of the most successful additions in recent years has been Guzman y Gomez. GYG is a Mexican casual dining and fast-food restaurant that puts equal emphasis on their design and menu offerings.
Redefining the fast food experience, GYG locations have traditional amenities such as drive-thru infrastructure, however, they also create dining spaces that make you want to stay and eat in.
Hurst was delighted to work with GYG for the first time on their location in Kotara. Positioned on a prized corner location, GYG had 250sqm to work with.
As part of Hurst’s project scope we were tasked with creating the internal dining space, installing amenities as well as fitting out the back of house kitchen, customer service area and external dining space.
Operating off a strict 5 week construction programme, our NSW team worked together to create GYG’s new location to the standards that their value customer base is accustomed to. Think feature walls with lush foliage, rustic timber and steel installs and Mexican Talavera tiles.
Whether working with a new client or a long-time project partner, the Hurst team approaches every job with the same mindset – work hard and communicate openly.
This ethos guides our approach to every job, be it complex and essential infrastructure projects or fit outs in the hospitality sector.
With an eye on everything from budgetary factors to the finishes of the engineered stone counter tops, the Hurst team delivered another uncompromising space for a new and valued client.
