The Project
Located along a bustling retail strip was a lot vacated by a retail tenant.
Sensing the opportunity, McDonald’s wanted to turn the location into a dine-in store that aligns with current updated brand standards.
This not only meant implementing those signature golden arches, but also more modern touches such as a McDelivery counter and digital ordering kiosks at the front of the store.
The Hurst Experience
Having constructed McDonald’s locations from the ground up before, the Hurst team is well versed on what it takes to bring a new store to life.
While this project had a slightly different scope to previous jobs, our team used our previous learnings and expertise to ensure a seamless transition from empty lot to McDonald’s new Chatswood location.
This experience informed decisions made during the course of the project. Importantly, it also allowed for our team to be proactive. With experience comes an ability to foresee challenges and an insight into how the client likes to operate.
By anticipating these events, we were able to work effectively and efficiently, meeting the tight construction programme.
