In response to Sydney’s rapidly growing population, Sydney Water announced the North West Treatment Hub Program. The program centres around a suit of upgrades to help adaptively respond and cater to this growth in the area.
Encompassing three treatment facilities located in Castle Hill, Rouse Hill and Riverstone, the program will upgrade the Water Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRFs) to ensure an efficient wastewater system that simultaneously caters for growth and keeps the waterways clean.

The Project
Hurst Concepts will be working with Abergeldie to deliver the proposed upgrade works to Castle Hill WRRF.
As part of our scope our team of total capability construction specialists will be delivering two new facilities buildings as well as providing extensive refurbishment works to existing buildings within the site.
As a community-minded company we relish opportunities to work on impactful projects. With works at Castle Hill involving both construction and refurbishment services, we are actively working to improve elements of energy efficiency. Additionally, modernisation will help to create an asset that needs less maintenance, all of which results in low operational costs and a reduced environmental footprint.
