Rozelle Interchange

Back to All Projects
NSW - Infrastructure - Design + Construct

Hurst had the pleasure of working with the joint venture of John Holland and CPB (JHCPB) to deliver works on the Rozelle Interchange project.

Australia’s largest and most complex underground road project, the $4.6 billion endeavour was the missing link in Sydney’s WestConnex motorway.

By connecting the extended M4 and the new M5 to the Anzac Bridge and Victoria Road, some of Sydney’s busiest commuter corridors will have the infrastructure needed to travel to work, school, retail precincts, home and back again.

The Project

Our team of total capability construction specialists was tasked with fitting out the Rozelle Interchange (RIC) motorway operations complex as well as the service and maintenance buildings of the Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT).

As part of our portion of works we delivered a fully fitted out and functional office and workshop, as well as storage and support areas. All of which were specifically tailored to meet the operations requirements of RIC and WHT such as water treatment plants and fire pump rooms.

Our team was proud to work on such an all-encompassing project that not only enhanced operational facilities for the essential services within the RIC, but also, fostered positive community and environmental impacts.

With tens of thousands of motorists able to navigate around Sydney everyday, we feel immensely privileged to work on critical infrastructure projects that will have lasting impact on the broader community.
