This commitment to being a trusted project delivery partner saw us win the contract to provide fitout works to a new restaurant called Tokyo Laundry that was looking to take up a tenancy in the prized Gateway redevelopment.

The Project
The idea behind Tokyo Laundry was to provide a great tasting menu that was only matched but it’s high-end finishes and aesthetic appeal.
To achieve the brief, Hurst worked to construct a minimalist but warm environment where the stone and steel features of the kitchen and champagne and oyster bar were complemented by the colourful design finishes and pops of greenery.
Converting the project from base required a particular attention to detail to ensure that every facet worked together to create a functional and design conscious restaurant.
