To improve the customer experience in Coles Woden, Hurst was awarded the contract to provide fitout services in order to deliver a brand new deli and bakery space.

The Brief
While delivering added convenience to customers, the Coles team didn’t want to take away from the current shopper experience. This meant that the Hurst team had to operate within a live environment to deliver the works.
With dedicated and thorough safety processes and procedures, as well as a unique construction methodology, we were able to efficiently and effectively navigate the complex live environment.
Our project scope included installing the white tiling synonymous with Coles’ bakery and deli spaces, as well as floor and ceiling work to ensure that the necessary machinery was properly wired and ventilated.
The Outcome
At the conclusion of the space the shoppers at Woden Coles were treated with an upgraded customer experience. Now a veritable one-stop-shop, offering added levels of convenience means that community members from all generations can benefit.
