Hurst was incredibly proud to be awarded the contracts to deliver the first Wendy’s locations in Melbourne.
In Seaford our team constructed a new store for the Wendy’s team, while in Dandenong South we converted an existing Carl’s Jnr location into a new Wendy’s restaurant and drive-thru. These two locations were the first drive-thru Wendy’s in Australia.
As a total capability construction company we have experience across all the major operating sectors and segments that encompass the built environment.

The Project
Hurst was proudly chosen as the project delivery partner to bring Wendy’s Seaford to life.
Not only was Seaford one of Wendy’s first restaurants in Melbourne, it also served as one of the first Wendy’s drive-thru locations in the country.
With unique design elements and an enhanced focus on the little details that make up the bigger picture, executing Wendy’s Seaford as per the brief required attention to detail and the quality finishes synonymous with the Hurst name.
Complete with generous dining room, dual lane drive thru, front counter and digital ordering kiosks, Wendy’s Seaford is a shining example of the modern QSR experience which has been elevated and adapted to account for the changing needs of how customers want to interact and enjoy their food.
Our Melbourne team were proud to deliver Wendy’s Seaford from the ground up, and the conversion of Carl’s Jnr into Wendy’s Dandenong South concurrently.
